MonsterLAN table, network and power setup.
MonsterLAN runs a simple star network for all it events. Power is set out for 24 people per a row, as it network.
Basic layout.
Long white tables = 3 people per a table Short white tables = 2 people per a table Old brown tables = 3 per a table.
Basic row config.
Long white tables.
8 Tables for a row. 4 tables for a side.
Short white tables.
12 Tables per a row. 6 tables per a side.
Old Brown tables.
6 Long tables and 3 short tables. 3 long tables per a side and 3 short one at the end.
Network config.
1 uplink per a table. Switch in the center of the row, with 12 network cables going out towards each end. Uplinks are run back to the backbone at the admin desk.
Power config.
3 extension cords from the breakout box per a row. Each extension cable then has 1 double adaptor connected and 2 x 8 port power boards. This gives 48 points for the table. 2 points per person. Note: it is advisable to put a 4 port power board in the center of the row to give an extra plug for the switch.

2. Lay out power.
3. Lay out network.
4. Lay out chairs.
